Rashmika gets a challenging role:- Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna is the busiest actress and she has films lined up in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil languages. The actress will be seen as a Muslim girl in Sitaramam, a love story that is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Dulquer Salman and Mrunal Thakur are the lead actors in this romantic film that is set in the backdrop of Kashmir. Rashmika plays an extended cameo in the film and she essays the role of Afreen, a Kashmiri Muslim girl in the film. She has an intense role assigned and Rashmika did enough homework before she joined the sets of the film. Hanu Raghavapudi says that she has a heroic role in the film.

Rashmika has done enough research and she had to go with a different body language. In some of the scenes, she has to emote through the eyes and she did it with perfection told the director. She was all excited and assigned the film immediately after she heard the script and her characterization. Dulquer Salman will be seen in the role of Lieutenant Ram and Mrunal Thakur essays the role of his lady love. Ashwini Dutt is producing Sitaramam on Vyjayanthi Movies banner and the film will hit the screens this year. Rashmika is shooting for Vijay's next film directed by Vamshi Paidipally and she will join the sets of Allu Arjun's Pushpa later this year.
