Rajinikanth signs his 169th Film:- Superstar Rajinikanth is on a break because of the coronavirus pandemic. The actor is done with the shoot of Annaatthe last year and the film ended up as a super hit in Tamil Nadu. The film is a flop in Telugu. Rajinikanth confirmed that he will not step into politics but he will continue doing films. He is also being paid Rs 100 crores as remuneration for every film. There are strong talks that Rajinikanth will soon work with Shiva who directed Annaatthe recently. But the project got delayed due to various reasons. The official announcement about the same will be made soon.

The latest update is that Rajinikanth signed his 169th film and it will be announced very soon. Young and promising director Nelson Dilipkumar who recently directed Doctor with Sivakarthikeyan is on board for the film. He recently completed Vijay's upcoming movie Beast and the film is announced for summer release. Rajinikanth's film with Nelson Dilipkumar will start rolling in summer and the makers are in plans to release in early next year. Sun Pictures are the producers. Rajinikanth will be taking Rs 100 crores remuneration for this project.
