Uppena Release Date Locked:- Vaishhnav Tej's debut film Uppena is delayed by months because of the coronavirus pandemic. With the film made on a big-budget, the makers had to head for a theatrical release to recover their investments. They are even pretty confident on the film's success and are waiting for a comfortable release date for the movie. Tollywood circles speculated that Uppena will head for a theatrical release on February 5th but this will not happen. The makers are waiting for the Centre's announcement about the increase in the theatre occupancy that is expected to be out by the end of this month.

In this while, Uppena will complete the censor formalities. The film is expected to hit the screens on February 12th marking the Valentine's Day weekend. With the Sankranthi films doing well all over, there are several films lined up for February and March release. Uppena is directed by Buchi Babu Sana and Vaishhnav Tej, Krithi Shetty, Vijay Sethupathi played the lead roles. Mythri Movie Makers are the producers and Devi Sri Prasad is on board as the music director. The music album is a smashing hit and Uppena is high on expectations.
