Suriya makes decent profits through Aakaasam Nee Haddu Raa:- Talented actor Suriya has been struggling for a right hit in his career. Though some of his recent movies fared well in Tamil, they could not end up as decent hits in Telugu. The actor is focused on Aakaasam Nee Haddu Raa, the biopic of Air Deccan Chief GR Gopinath. The film is directed by Sudha Kongara and it completed shoot some time ago. The movie is initially aimed for summer release but it got pushed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Suriya and his team decided to release Aakaasam Nee Haddu Raa on digital platforms.

Amazon Prime acquired the digital streaming rights of Aakaasam Nee Haddu Raa for a record price of Rs 42 crores. The film is streaming from today and the response is completely positive. Suriya who produced Aakaasam Nee Haddu Raa on his own banner 2D Entertainments is said to have made decent profits through the film. Aakaasam Nee Haddu Raa is made on a budget of Rs 30 crores and the digital rights alone brought Rs 42 crores for Suriya. The other non-theatrical rights are sold recently and Suriya is expected to make huge profits through the film. Aparna Balamurali, Paresh Rawal, Urvashi and Mohan Babu played other pivotal roles in Aakaasam Nee Haddu Raa.
