Kamal Haasan prefers to stay away from Indian 2 Controversy:- Sensational director Shankar's last two movies I and Robo 2 ended up as below average grossers at the box-office considering the budgets. The ace director pinned many hopes on his next film titled Indian 2. The film features Kamal Haasan in the lead role and Kajal Aggarwal is the leading lady. Lyca Productions are the producers. All is not well between Shankar and Lyca Productions right from the start. The production house wanted Shankar to cut down the budget and the shoot started after Shankar slashed down the budget.

The film is planned on a budget of Rs 220 crores and an unexpected accident killed three crew members on the sets. After several controversies, the film is planned to start from November. But the makers are not positive and Shankar is waiting for their response. Kamal decided to stay away from this controversy and he asked Shankar, makers to resolve the issue. If the shoot doesn't commence soon, Kamal will move ahead and will start Lokesh Kanagaraj's film. Shankar and Lyca Productions are expected to meet soon to discuss about Indian 2.
