It is two and a half years since Anushka's last movie Bhaagamathiee released. The actress completed the shoot of Nishabdham long ago and the release got delayed several times. The makers decided to release the film for summer after which the coronavirus pandemic attacked. Hemanth Madhukar is the director and Anushka, R Madhavan, Srinivas Avasarala, Anjali, Shalini Pandey and Subba Raju played the lead roles in this action thriller which is entirely shot in USA. There are several speculations about the release of Nishabdham from the past few weeks.

As per the latest news, Nishabdham will head for a digital release and will skip the theatrical release. Nishabdham will release on Amazon Prime in October and the digital streaming rights of the film are sold for a price of Rs 25 crores. Nishabdham will release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages. People Media Factory along with Kona Film Corporation are the producers. Nishabdham is carrying decent expectations and the teaser clocked a record number of views. The makers will release the official digital release date of Nishabdham very soon.
