Acharya Makers About The Copyright Allegations:- Megastar Chiranjeevi is focused on Acharya, a big-budget action entertainer that is tipped with a social drama. Top director Koratala Siva is directing this film which is about the scams that are happening in temples. The shoot of the film is put on hold due to coronavirus. On the occasion of Megastar Chiranjeevi's birthday, the makers of the film unveiled the motion poster of Acharya. Right after the release, there are allegations saying that the script of the film is copied. A couple of young writers claimed that the script was inspired by their stories.
With a lot of rumors surrounding the project, the makers of Acharya issued a statement claiming that Acharya is an original film that is penned and conceptualized by Koratala Siva himself. "We wish to inform everyone that Acharya is an original story written and conceptualized by Koratala Siva alone. Any claims that the said story is a copy is baseless. We have kept the story of the film confidential and only select few people are aware of what it is all about. It is unacceptable to defame a reputed filmmaker like Koratala Siva. Any claims with respect to the story are completely basless, false and are made solely on assumptions" said the makers.

We are making all efforts to complete the movie at the earliest and present it to the audience" concluded Matinee Entertainments, the producers of Acharya. Kajal is the leading lady and Ram Charan plays a prominent role in this social drama. Acharya is aimed at the summer 2021 release.
