Vijay To Slash Down His Remuneration:- The coronavirus pandemic will have a strong impact on the film industry. The film industry is the first to shut and it will be the last one to resume work. The shoots are kept on hold. The theatres are closed from the mid of March and they are expected to be opened only next year. Several filmmakers are urging the actors and directors to have a cut in their paycheques to save the producers who are suffering huge losses during this coronavirus season. The Tollywood Producers Guild met several times to discuss about the issue and conveyed the same to the lead actors of their upcoming projects.

Tamil top actor Vijay already completed the shoot of his upcoming movie Master which was aimed for a summer release. This film may release for Diwali or Sankranthi and the release date will be announced soon. Vijay signed his next film for Sun Pictures and the project starts rolling soon. As per the speculation, Vijay is charging Rs 100 crores as remuneration for the movie. With the coronavirus pandemic, Vijay decided to cut 20% of his remuneration and he would be charging Rs 80 crores for the film. AR Murugadoss is the director and the movie is rumored to be the sequel for Thuppaki.
