Samantha signs a Kannada Remake: Super talented actress Samantha who has been lined up with many interesting projects took a break for marriage. Samantha got married to actor Naga Chaitanya and is currently busy with her next film Rangasthalam 1985 which is in final stages of shoot. Sukumar is the director of the film and Ram Charan is the lead actor in the movie. Bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, the film has been announced for summer release. Samantha is also shooting for her next film titled Mahanati which happens to be the biopic of legendary actress Savitri.

Samantha has been in talks for the remake of Kannada blockbuster U Turn from some time. Extremely impressed with the concept and the narration, Samantha gave her nod for the film. Pawan Kumar who directed the original will direct the remake which will be shot in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously. Srinivasaa Silver Screens will produce this film which will start rolling from February. Samantha is quite excited about the film and announced the news officially.
