Mahanati Title Logo Released:- Veteran actress Savitri will be remembered by the Indian audience for ages. Now a biopic on her life story has been planned and it is under shoot. Nag Ashwin who made an impressive debut with Nani’s Yevade Subramanyam is directing this big budget drama. Malayalam beauty Keerthy Suresh has been locked to reprise the role of the actress on screen. The shoot of the movie is going on in Hyderabad and lavish sets have been erected to reprise old movies.

On the occasion of Savitri’s birth anniversary, the makers unveiled the motion poster along with the title logo of the movie. The movie has been titled Mahanati and it will hit the screens on March 29th 2018 during summer. Samantha plays Jamuna in the movie and it is through her eyes the narration takes place. Vijay Devarakonda, Dulquer Salman and Shalini Pandey will be seen in other pivotal roles in Mahanati which has been bankrolled by Vyjayanthi Movies.
