Rajamouli Not Disappointed About Oscars:- Maverick director SS Rajamouli is sure a happy man after the release of Baahubali: The Conclusion. The movie ended up as the biggest hit in the history of Indian cinema. Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka and Tamannaah played the lead roles in the movie. The ace director has been widely appreciated for his work from all the corners of the country. He even has been knocked with offers from many top production houses. The VFX Work and the lavish sets impressed the audience bigtime and the movie raked Rs 1750 crores in its final run across the globe in all the released languages.
Shockingly, the movie has not been picked for the Oscars 2018 in the category of foreign films from the country. Rajkumar Rao’s film Newton has been finalized as the official entry from India to Oscars. Rajamouli during his recent interaction revealed that he is not disturbed or disappointed about Baahubali not making up for the Oscars. He clarified that he is focus is not on awards and is on the story and the wide reach.
“I am not at all worried about Baahubali: The Conclusion missing the Oscars. My focus is always on my work and it should reach wider sections of audience and impress them. All my films should rake huge money and end up my team in profits. I was not bothered about awards and will continue to work. It is the film’s story that gives me satisfaction and nothing more”.
