The Names Of Bigg Boss Telugu Contestants: All You Need To Know:- Hosted by N.T.Rama Rao Jr, Bigg Boss Telugu kicked off on Sunday, July 16th, 2017. The first episode introduced 14 contestants who will lock horns for 70 days in the Bigg Boss house. Bigg Boss Telugu will mark the small screen debut of Junior NTR.
The proceedings of the show began with the dance performance of Jr NTR and later started introducing the participants of the show. The house will have 14 celebrities which include singers, anchors and actors.
The entry of all the fourteen housemates into the house was followed by Bigg Boss laying out the rules the contestants have to follow in the coming days. So far, the rules consist of the contestants not to remove their mikes, speaking with each other only in Telugu and not sleeping before the lights are switched off.
With no connection from technology, and staying with each other and the voice of Bigg Boss for company, it remains to be seen, if this show will turn out to be as the Hindi and Tamil versions have turned out to be – much controversial!
Bigg Boss Telugu will return on Monday at 9 PM and the preview of the first episode already looks juicy!

1) Siva Balaji
Siva Balaji rose to fame in the Allu Arjun featured movie “Arya”. Before Arya, the actor has done supporting roles. Siva Balaji was seen in the lead role in Krihshna Vamshi’s directorial Chandamama, which is one of the successful films in his career.
Siva is known for his outspoken personality. Recently, he was in the news recently for his protest against online trolls and meme. He surely will add a lot of energy to the proceedings in the Bigg Boss house. Let us wait and watch!
2) Mumaith Khan
One of the female contestants at the Bigg Boss house is Mumaith Khan. In many movies, Mumaith is known well for her special dance numbers. She is even popular for her candid nature and bold attitude in the industry. The coming episode will tell us what is in store from Mumaith.
3) Dhanraj
For his comic roles in Telugu cinema Dhanraj is quite famous. On a popular comedy show on Telugu channel, he is also known for his comic acts. He has hardly been in the news for any kind of undesirable things. The viewers will wait to see how he would go about dealing with things at the Bigg Boss house.
4) Adarsh Balakrishna
Adarsh is a popular actor in Telugu film industry. He is well-known for his roles in films like Happy Days and Govindudu Andarivadele. Without much backing in the industry, Adarsh has made it big in the industry.
5) Sampoornesh Babu
He does not need much introduction since he is pretty popular for his spoof based films in Telugu. Films like Hrudayakaleyam and Kobbari Metta have brought this actor to limelight. He was one of the few actors who supported the protest for a special status for AP and to participate in the protest, even went to the coastal town of Vizag. The special attraction at the Bigg Boss house will be none other than our Sampoo – The Burning Star!
6) Archana
She is one the actresses in South cinema, who despite being a part of some big films, could not make it big in the industry. Archana aka Veda in an interview, she even admitted that she still cannot figure out why that happened. Given the kind of personality she is, Archana will make a good contestant in a show like Bigg Boss.
7) Madhu Priya
Singer Madhu Priya alleged that her husband and her in-laws were harassing her for dowry and even filed a complaint with the police a year ago. Bigg Boss Telugu seems to have gotten the right ingredients for the reality show, with such a controversial personality in the list of contestants,
8) Singer Kalpana
Kalpana is famous for her tracks in Telugu and Tamil, and is a very popular singer. The track “Pakdo Pakdo” from Julayi is her popular peppy number. As a judge, Kalpana has participated in many singing competition shows and is known for speaking out up and clear always. Another big contestant to look out for in the Bigg Boss house.
9) Mahesh Kathi
Known for analysing films ruthlessly, Mahesh is a self-professed film critic. Fans of many top stars of Telugu cinema warned Mahesh for giving a review against their films. Bigg Boss will definitely be the most awaited for on Telugu television, with such a controversial personality in the house.
10) Jyothi
Jyoti has acted in many Telugu films in supporting roles. For the kind of sleazy roles she takes up, the actress at times was even criticised, but that never bothered the actress. To the kind of personality Jyoti is, her recent interviews are a testimonial. With her outspoken nature, Jyoti will look to gun the top position in Bigg Boss.
11) Sameer
Sameer has acted in many Telugu films and is very popular for supporting roles. He is indeed a big name in the Telugu film circles. Because of his roles in many daily soaps, Sameer is a household name and with the affinity he has with the Telugu viewers. 13) Katthi Karthika

14) Prince Cecil
