Sensational director Harish Shankar’s latest outing Duvvada Jagannadham received poor response from the audience however the film minted decent figures across the Telugu speaking states. Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde played the lead roles in the movie and Allu Arjun, Harish Shankar expressed their anger on the critics who rated their film poor. With lot of speculations going all over about the film’s collections, Harish Shankar stepped out with an interesting challenge.

He revealed the official figures of the film in Nizam and he revealed that he would quit films if the collections are proved fake. Harish Shankar also reminded that Duvvada Jagannadham is his second film that crossed Rs 20 crore mark in Nizam.  He even thanked his genuine fans for all the support. Dil Raju produced Duvvada Jagannadham and Devi Sri Prasad composed the music.

Harish Shankar has been extremely disappointed with the flow of negative reviews right from the first day across the social media. However it was Bunny and his stamina which grabbed a massive opening for the film and stood for the long weekend. Duvvada Jagannadham managed to mint decent figures but the analysts revealed that the film will end up as a loss venture for all the buyers. The movie has been declared as a debacle in overseas and the promotions during the second week too could not help the movie.

Allu Arjun too during his US trip revealed that he is not bothered much about the critics and reviews. Devi Sri Prasad’s music, cinematography and the power packed performance of Allu Arjun along with Pooja Hegde’s glamour are the major highlights of Duvvada Jagannadham. Made on a budget of Rs 60 crores, Duvvada Jagannadham has done a massive pre-release business of Rs 90 crores.
