There have been a lot of accusations against the personal assistant of TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna in his assembly constituency Hindupur that he is taking 'bribes'.

Though acquisitions were made, no proper action was taken against him from Balakrishna. Even the top brass of TDP is silent on this issue though CM Chandrababu Naidu got the bad name. Speculations are riffed that Chandrababu has an exception for his brother-in-law.

As the allegations are causing a severe damage to the party, many Anantapur TDP leaders are demanding immediate removal of the personal assistant Sekhar.

Balayya and his team have been silent on this issue. This has led to few TDP leaders from Anantapur revolting against the party. They even decided to resign if proper action isn't taken against the PA. Few ZPTCs and MPTCs have already decided to resign as Balayya did not give any proper response.
