Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha is one such film, which is universally accepted by everyone, declaring it to be a blockbuster. In the recent times, none of the films, could get a unanimous positive talk like this.
After Bale Bale Magadivoy, this is another big hit in Nani’s career, that too in a row. Even KVPG film is a very special one in Nani’s career because, though earlier, he tried to prove himself as a mass hero through the films like Sega, Paisa etc, as those films could not do well at the box office, many felt that, he would only suit to the class entertainers.
But slashing all such rumors, Nani finally bagged a huge blockbuster through Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha. Not just the positive talk, the film is even witnessing good collections at the ticket counter.
Just on the opening day, the movie collected Rs. 3 crores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and $144,583 including premieres in the US.
As expected, even on weekends, the movie roared at the overseas box office and collected $171,447, taking the total overseas collections to $316,029 (₹ 2.15 crores) till Saturday.
Trade analysts say that the film has performed exceptionally well on Sunday and chances are that overseas numbers will hit the half a million mark.
If the run continues in the similar way, by the end of next week, KVPG would enter the $1 million club, thus putting another film into Nani’s account and making him an overseas star, having three $1 million films after Eega and Bhale Bhale Magadivoi.
