Yes, it is Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, the one movie, which has rewritten the spelling of love. It is 20 years with today, for this ever epic movie. #20yearsofDDLJ is already going viral and even trending in the social networking sites.
This is the film, through which, Shah Rukh Khan’s fame grew overnight and made him compete with the then top Bollywood stars. His naughtiness, his style, his emotions, his love, and on the other side, Kajol’s eye expressions, her performance in sentimental scenes, has put the movie on the top notch.
If anyone could talk about a perfect couple, they would mostly relate to Shah Rukh and Kajol. That is the influence, DDLJ created among the audience. Though it is a love story, as it has equal family values and emotions in the film, it was even hugely applauded by the family audience, along with the youth.
In a theatre called Maratha Mandir in Mumbai, the movie is still running for the past 20 years. Though the theatre management had thought of removing the movie several times, SRK wants to continue the film run and reportedly he assured financial support to the theatre, for running DDLJ.
