Chiranjeevi and Bunny hand in Bajrangi Bhaijaan

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is inspired from Chiranjeevi’s ‘Pasivadi pranam’ says Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad, who was one of the script writers of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.

Speaking in an interview, Vijayendra Prasad said that, he is thoroughly happy to know that, both his films, Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan scored a super success.

“Baahubali is the film which has to be appreciated by the entire film industry. Within 10 days of the release of the film, it scored Rs. 350 crores. This is the achievement of Indian cinema. Do not treat it as a regional language flick. Though the film was shot in Tamil and Telugu languages, it scored a huge success even in Bollywood, Kannada and Malayalam too”, Vijayendra Prasad said.

Especially speaking about Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Vijayendra Prasad said that, “he inspired it from Chiru’s ‘Pasivadi pranam’. Along with that, we heard about a Pakistan kid, who took the heart operation in India, as there are no right facilities in Pakistan. Adding a contemporary touch to both the events, Bajrangi Bhaijaan script has come out. As the Pakistan border issue was scripted, the story got a good emotional graph.”

It was heard that Bajrangi Bhaijaan was scripted keeping Bunny in mind, but as the latter rejected it, it had to go to Bollywood. Though in the beginning, it is expected that Baahubali might calm down in Bollywood after Bajrangi Bhaijaan, surprisingly, Baahubali is even sharing good theatre occupancy along with Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
