Leggy lass, Deepika Padukone will mark her debut as playback singer in Imtiaz Ali's 'Tamasha.' Music Maestro AR Rahman who is composing tunes for this flick, has roped Deepika to sing a song in the movie. Director Imtiaz too was okay with Deepika lending her voice and according the sources, the song was recorded recently.
This is Imtiaz's straight third film with Rahman and looks like the rapport between them is going good. Interestingly, Alia Bhatt who featured in Imtiaz's 'Highway' also made her singing debut. So it is Deepika who is the newest edition to the list of actors who have turned as playback singer after Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra.
Tamasha features Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. This is third combination of the former couple, which is aimed for release next year. Let's wait and see, how Deepika sounds.
