The multi-talented Lakshmi Manchu is all set to feature in creative director Krishna Vamsi's next. According to the sources, Krishna Vamsi is planning a crime comedy with no male leads and Lakshmi Manchu would act as the main lead in the film. We also hear that the film has been titled 'Dongata' and the shooting is expected to start soon. The film will be produced by the Manchu lady herself on 'Manchu Entertainment' banner.

This is a good move by Lakshmi Manchu for being part of Krishna Vamsi's project. It would be a whole new experience when it comes to acting in KV's direction as he extracts the best from an artist. Hopefully, the actor cum producer doesn't disappoint us. Meanwhile, Lakshmi Manchu's 'Budugu' is gearing up for a release in the last week of February. She will be seen as mother in the film and trailer has already impressed one and all.
