'Memu Saitam' marathon event went on to huge success and Telugu Film Industry have gave a cheque of Rs. 11.5 Crores for the rescue activities in Vizag Hudhud cyclone victims. The entire Telugu Film Industry has attended with full energetic and Tollywood has made this mega event a grand success, which stated at 10 am in the morning the telethon went on till 11 in the night.
Tollywood prince Mahesh Babu also participated in a program along with actress Samantha and Trivikram at the ‘Memu Saitam’ marathon event. However, Pawan Kalyan had skipped from the ‘Memu Saitam’ event disappointing his fans, where the rumors created that Power Star would perform along with other Tollywood big stars on the stage.
Later star comedians Brahmanandam, Ali, Venu Madhav and others other celebrities come up on the stage and danced in their own style to entertain their fans. Meanwhile, Sun Network has donated 3.5 Crores, while Balakrishna's constituency of Hindupur received a total of around 45 lakhs to transfer this amount to CM relief fund.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu has received a cheque of Rs 11,51,56,116 from Telugu Film Industry to adopt a village and develop it with this money.
