A never before destruction was witnessed in Vizag with the hudhud cyclone. The expected loss is around Rs 70,000 crores and it is not an easy task to re-build the entire city. Tollywood has responded promptly over this and many personalities contributed to whatever extent they can. A quite of few are also gathering money from general public and still doing their bit.

Director SS Rajamouli came with something unique to gather funds for the relief works. He asked cinematographer Rajeev Menon to shoot a small video which could bring awareness among the public. Rajamouli shared the video through his official Twitter page and tweeted, “Rajeev Menon shot and directed this small video on my request. Thank you sir. This Diwali share “half” your happiness with Vizag.”
