Tollywood ace director SS Rajamouli has appreciated Naga Chaitanya's Autonagar Surya [ANS] and took it on his micro-blogging account to congratulate the team of ANS.

“Appreciate @devakatta for his guts for glorifying an Individual who fights against the union. His dialogues pack a punch. Samantha's "pillalu Mathram vaadi polikatho pudathaaru" is my personal favourite. The trimming was essential and good the makers did it early on..,” tweeted Rajamouli.

On the other hand, the trimmed version of Autonagar Surya is getting good response from the audience post the release day. On the opening day, ANS met with mixed report and many critics opined that the second half should have been cut down. The makers reacted promptly and trimmed 12 minutes of footage from the second half. Also the makers claim that the collections have improved on Saturday and Sunday.

Anyways, some good news for Naga Chaitanya for waiting for two long years.
