Cinema stars do not like to appear on small screen but for something special like a realty show or an award function.  After getting an image as a celebrity, they think it is a low to act in TV programs.  It is only because of the big difference in the budgets of a film and TV serial.  Senior actors do not like to act in the low budget films too.  Formula is that the remuneration of the hero should not be more than 50% of the cost of the film.  

Nagarjuna having many good films to his credit right from “Siva” made at earlier stages of his film career.  Movies like Annamayya as he says, have given him immense satisfaction to the artist in him.  But recently he anchored the Telugu version of Amitabh Bachchan conducted Kaun Banega Crorepati as “Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu”.  Nagarjuna says that he has got the same satisfaction in the realty show as he got in the movies like Annamayya.

As the recording of 45 episodes of “Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu” is complete, Nagarjuna feels void in him again.  He looks forward for the second session of the realty show to get the thrill again.  But, he frankly admits that he cannot sit in the hot seat to win the prize money of Rs.one crore as he lacks the general knowledge required to win.
