As a rule of getting permission before digging a bore well is in force in the state, Cinemea actor Nandamuri Balakrishna is fined by the revenue department for digging in his residential plot at 45, Bajara Hills two days ago.
Sheikpet MRO Venkatareddy sent notice to the action hero to pay a fine of Rs.10000/- for violating the rule of digging only after attaining permission from the authorities.
As per the rule the penalty can be up to Rs.50000/- with an imprisonment for three months. It is said that no complaint is received from neighbors or any others but the vigilant revenue officials could get the information about the bore well dug by the actor.
Balakrishna was jubilant yesterday for the release of his latest movie “Legend” on which occasion he cut a cake at Bhramaramba Cinema Theater at Kukatpally on Friday. Although the sum is not an issue for the hero, the embarrassment and unnecessary propaganda made him feel unhappy.
The penalty amount is sent to the revenue department for the remission of it.
