Gravity bags seven Oscars

The 86th Oscar awards have ended in a grand manner at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. Film Gravity is the biggest winner of this year's Oscar, winning seven awards and 12 Years A Slave has bagged three awards.

The biggest losers in the Oscars were American Hustle, The Wolf Of Wall Street and Captain Phillips which didn't manage to win even a single Oscar though getting nominated in several categories.

Best Actress in a Lead Role: Cate Blanchett [Blue Jasmine]

Best Director: Alfonso Cuaron [Gravity]

Best Supporting Actor: Jared Leto  [Dallas Buyers' Club]

Best Supporting Actress: Lupita Nyong'o  [12 Years a Slave]

Best Costume Design: The Great Gatsby

Best Make up & Hairstyling: Dallas Buyers' Club

Best Short Film (Animated): Mr Hublot

Best Animated Feature Film: Frozen

Best Short Film (Live Action): Helium

Best Documentary Short Subject: The Lady in Number 6: Music Saved My Life

Best Documentary Feature: 20 Feet from Stardom

Best Foreign Language Film: The Great Beauty [Italian film]

Best Sound Mixing: Gravity

Best Sound Editing: Gravity

Best Cinematography: Emmanuel Lubezki [Gravity]
