Image one way is good for the actors and actress but it is also bad them one way.  An image does half of what the artist wants to do. Because of the image of an actor the audience accepts the role immediately. But if the image is built because of the need for doing immediate business, it may be difficult later on to change it.

Praneetha who stole hearts of many cine lovers in Attarintiki Daredi though Samantha is the main heroine, is aiming for the main leads but not as a second heroine.  When a movie is successful it runs for more number of days than it does normally.  That means Praneetha had a chance to be seen more.

As Pawan Kalyan first casts his eye on Praneetha, naturally the audience also goes by that.  It gave a good leverage to Praneetha as a result of which she got good offers and other commercial offers like opening of shops etc. She was signed for Rabhasa again as a second heroine Samantha being the lead lady. She got a chance to act in Pandavulu Pandavulu Thummeda movie too.

But Praneetha now wants only lead roles to shake off the second lady image.  Because of this decision made by her she rejected an offer to work for Ravi Teja film as second heroine.

It is an intelligent decision to shake off the old image but unfortunately it will not automatically assure lead roles.
