Indian Idol 5 winner Sriram Chandra has a new avatar. His solo film teaser is out and he looks quite different from how we remember him. We're not talking about looks mind you, but his singer to hero transformation. Sriram and the teaser of Prema Geema Jaantha Nai look pretty promising.

Sriram Chandra has, until now, mesmerized us with his voice. It's time for audiences to get a dose of his romance and action talents. In the teaser, he looks like a quintessential Telugu actor, swooning in one scene and bashing up someone in the next.

The film has another debutante. Priyanka Chopra’s nephew Barbie Handa is the heroine and SV Ranga Rao’s grandson SVR is the villain. Produced by Maddhala Bhaskar and Dhaadi Bala Bhaskar, the film is directed is Subbu. Mani Sharma has given the tunes for Prema Geema Jaantha Nai.
