Tollywood has two different film chambers as of now. A separate chamber for Telangana's filmy personalities has been confirmed to safeguard their interests. What was once the Hyderabad state Film Chamber of Commerce has now become Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce, considering that Telangana is about become a separate state.

The chamber will actively work towards the development of Telangana’s film industry. Much like the AP Film Chamber, the new chamber will also have sectors representing directors, producers, exhibitors and studio owners.

Director N Shankar is the chamber's elected president and Syed Shafi the General Secretary. Telangana Film Directors Guild is headed by Allani Sridhar, while the Telangana Producers Council is now led by Sanayadi Reddy.

Telangana people from the AP film chamber of Commerce can get their memberships in the new Chamber, which will soon initiate a membership drive.
