A multi starrer film with the heroes of three generations is being produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna under the banner of Annapurna Studios.
Although it is a multi starrer, all the stars are Akkinenis. Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya are going to make their presence in the movie 'Manam' means 'We'. The project will have its start in the first week of June.
The movie is supposed to be a romantic entertainer. Cine lovers will just love to see three generations of Akkineni family heroes sharing a screen. If the story and presentation is taken good care of, it will be a bonus to them.
Previously the same experiment was made by Kapoor’s family of Hindi Cinema in 1971. Prithviraj Kapoor along with his son Raj Kapoor and grandson Randheer Kapoor made a good show in ‘Kal as aur kal’ means yesterday, today and tomorrow. Randheer Kapoor’s wife Babita also acted in the movie as his lover. The producer of the film Raj Kapoor said to have made up his losses on his ‘Mera Nam Joker’ with this movie.
‘Manam’ is also produced by Nagarjuna the second generation hero just like his counterpart in the Hindi one. Shreya and Samantha are pairing with Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya respectively. Music will be composed by Anup Rubens.
