Salman Khan is the richest actor now with four movies in the Rs 100 crore club after Dabangg 2 has also fetched Rs 100 cr in a very short period of just six days. Earlier his movies like Dabangg, Bodyguard and Ek Tha Tiger grossed over Rs 100 crores but it definitely took some time.
The current collections of the movie stand at Rs 100.78 crores. The sequel to the movie Dabangg 2 had an overwhelming response that was greater than that of the first iteration. First day collections of Rs.21.10 crore heralded a movie in the Rs 100 Cr club. By the weekend there were Rs.65.16 crore in the box-office.
Dabangg 2, as said by Salman, is the movie that follows right after the first one ends. From the idyllic touch from Uttar Pradesh, to a posh Urban location, there have been drastic changes in the movie. Over 3,500 theaters in India played the movie on December 21.
Arbaaz Khan directed the movie and it is an overwhelming success as a directorial and debut at that one.
