Superstar Rajnikanth who has created a bench mark for his fans and to the fraternity by his outstanding philanthropic contributions, has once again excelled. The star who was ever fascinated by Sri Raghavendra in Mantralayam had recently made an enormous contribution of almost Rs 10 Cr to the temple. The old temple is ready to invest the amount to upgrade the infrastructure.
The temple authorities released a press release which elaborates the infrastructure to be adhered with the said amount. The release states that the old buildings on the rear side of the Sarvagnya Mandir would be dismantled and 25 fresh A/C cottages and 100 general rooms would be constructed. There are plans to set up a garden with the remaining funds.
Sri Raghavendra Swami was a Hindu saint and philosopher who served as the head of the Sri Mutt in Kumbakonam. He has many followers among the cine fraternity.
