English Vinglish tickles funny bone with a subtle message

The reentry of the South Queen Sridevi, who went on to rule the Bollywood has won acclaim from all sources about her second innings launch vehicle 'English Vinglish.' Reviews that proved the awesome drawing power of the starlet who commanded the national audience with her unique versatility.

In this ever changing tinsel world dominated by the male stars, there are  very few female stars who are remembered. And Sridevi is one stat remembered by everyone from Kashmir to Kanyakumari would not be a slogan to flatter her, but a reality.

The story revolves around a middle aged home maker who just refurbishes her language skills, learned decades ago, to make a living. And the humor unfolds with the ways she adopts to keep her updated in the latest scenario.

Earlier about her re-launch vehicle the Female Superstar said, 'English Vinglish was a right script for me to make a comeback. I loved it when director Gauri Shinde narrated it to me.'

After a long time, a film that could be watched with anyone around and a film to give a hearty laugh. Critics say it is a stress buster on its own. A decent film that is compulsory to be watched once and repeats when caught up with stress in this concrete jungle. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
