Tollywood actor Tom Cruise becomes the highest paid actor in Hollywood, according to the prestigeous Forbes magazine while Titanic fame Leonardo DiCaprio becomes the second highest paid actor. In fact, Tom Cruise's remuneration was almost twice that of Leonardo DiCaprio. The magazine has also stated Tom Cruise became not just most sought after actor but the highest paid actor after his movie Mission Impossible, which became a became success across the globe and rocked the box office profits.

Forbes magazine even mentioned that speculations were high whether the impending divorce of Tom Cruise with Kati Holmes would effect his remuneration in Hollywood. Notably, Tom Cruise earned $75 million between May  2011 and May 2012.
