Akkineni Akhil, son of Akkineni Nagarjuna and Amala, has been included in the Telugu Warriors CCL T20 Squad. Team Owner Manchu Vishnu said that his presence will boost our team performance.
“Akhil is a good Cricketer, Tollywood Trophy T20 series is the best session, there we found his cricketing capabilities, I believe his inclusion will strengthen our team”, said Vishnu Manchu. He cleared all the rumors by giving the statement, “Akhil is not an actor”. He had acted as a child artist in Sisindri.
The celebrity team has already started its preparation for the CCL T20. Telugu Warriors' captain Venkatesh, and his teammates Siddharth, Akhil, Tarun, Srikanth, Balakrishnan, Vishnu and Aadarsh are undergoing rigorous training under the guidance of coach Vanka Pratap in a resort in Hyderabad.
Telugu Warriors will face Chennai Rhinos lead by Surya, this Saturday at Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. The T-town squad not yet announced by the owner Vishnu Manchu, sources said it was almost finalized.
