The title of power star Pavan Kalyan starrer ‘Teen Maar’, the music of which was launched Monday evening, is now entangled in a controversy.
Warangal Ravi, the president of the Teen Maar Cultural Organization, told media persons in Hyderabad this evening that the title of the movie has denigrated the culture and traditions of Telangana people.
He asked hero Pavan Kalyan and producer Ganesh to change the title of the movie immediately. Ravi threatened to stage a dharna in front of the house of Pavan Kalyan if the title is not changed by the producers and the hero.
It may be mentioned that the title of the last movie of Pavan Kalyan ‘Komaram Puli’ was also embroiled in a controversy after T groups raised objections to the title. The producers of the movie were forced to change the title as ‘Puli’ ultimately.
It is now to be seen whether the T agitators will take the objection to the title ‘Teen Maar’ to its logical end by taking up an agitation and threatening to block the movie and so on or leave it with a simple warning.
