The Xiaomi launched its Mi 5 flagship smartphone globally as well as in India. And while the Mi 5 packs in quite powerful hardware as is, some online retailers in China are selling an even more powerful 'high version' of the smartphone.

5.15-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels)

4-megapixel Front Camera
Android 6.0
3000mAh battery
USB Type-C port

4G
Bluetooth 4.2
The phone comes in white, black, gold, and light purple and should feel at least noticeably snappier (and warmer). It will now be available at Rs 22,999 on Mi.com and Flipkart. Xiaomi India head Manu Jain tweeted out saying the price cut is permanent. Mi 5 was unveiled in India in March at Rs 24,999.
Samsung also slashed the prices of its flagship smartphone Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. Both the devices have received a price cut of Rs 5,000, according to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom.
Samsung Galaxy S7, which was launched at a price of Rs 48,900, is now available at Rs 43,400. On the other hand, the Galaxy S7 Edge is now available at Rs 50,900, which was launched at Rs 56,900.The Mi 5 was already the good value at its original price and the price drop should make it an even more attractive package.
