Indians triumph on the first day of the last test in the four test series in home ground against the Kangaroos who have failed to make a mark yet in the matches. On the first day at Feroze Shah Kotla Stadium, all tables were turned in India's favor.

Australia is on its knees after losing 8 wickets on the first day itself while it scored a meager 231 runs on the first day. The final batsmen are not expected to add more than a hundred to the score making it easy as a pie for the Indians to chase.

Captain Shane Watson also surrendered his wicket early in the game with just 17 runs to his name. Steven Smith who was proving to be dangerous was dismissed by a fantastic ball Ashwin while being caught in the deep by Rahane. Ashwin managed to bag a total of 4 wickets proving to be instrumental in the bowling attack yet again. Jadeja and Ashwin also had two wickets to their name each.
