Australia failed to maintain the integrity they possessed in the first test, resulting in a poor lead over India for their second innings. Philip Hughes fell after a decent innings and the team was a mere house of cards later. It wasn't until Mitchell Stark and Doherty claimed the ground and delayed the downfall a little, did the score pick up. Australian second innings was limited greatly by Ravindra Jadeja and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar. Ojha and Ashwin had 2 wickets each too.
Conceding their game, Australians were a little over 130 runs ahead of the Indian batting team. Indians started off well in the beginning few overs but slackened off in the later overs. They are now at 56 runs with one wicket down but still have over 70 runs to chase. They have only 12 overs left and with Australian bowling going at the same rate, India will have to lose a win and settle for a draw. But with Kohli and Pujara on field, the target is well within reach for the day. Will they make it?
