New Zealand wins toss, elects to bat

New Zealand v/s India test cricket has turned interesting with New Zealand winning the toss and electing to bat against Team India at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.  Notably, this happens to be the last test match of Kiwis against India. In the first test cricket match, India won the toss and elected to bat in Hyderabad and won the match by 115 running and an innings. India now leads the series with 1-0. In order to put a check to Indian batsmen, Australian launched the fast bowler Tim Southee, who replaced Chris Martin.

On the second match today, New Zealand scored 108 runs for a loss of three wickets by the time of lunch. Indian bowler Pragyan Ojha has taken two wickets for 24 runs whereas Zaheer managed to send a batsman to the pavilion.  While opener Martin managed to score 53 for New Zealand, the current players Ross Taylor and Daniel Flynn were batting with 27 and 7 scores respectively.
