The fifth seeded Indo-Russian mixed doubles pair storm to semi-finals on Tuesday at Paris in the French Opens Tennis tournament. The popular tennis pair Leander Paes and his partner Elena Vesnina had a gala time on court in Paris. The one and half hour match between the pair and their opponents Max Mirnyi of Belarus and American Liezel Huber gave the edge for them. Paes and Elena scored 4-6 7-5 10-5 and won the match. Max and Liezel paid the prize for failing to convert three of the four break point chances. And the last match was the most interesting which lasted a little over ten minutes when the Indo-Russian pair dominates the courts.
Earlier on Monday the all Indian mixed doubles pair Mahesh Bhupathi and Sania Mirza also cruised through to the semi-finals. The Indian pair ruined the dreams of second seeds Kveta Peschke and Mike Bryan 6-2 6-3 at Ronald Garros.

But in another match in the Men’s doubles match paired up with Austrian Alexander Peya lost against Mikhail Elgin of Russia and Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan, 4-6, 1-6.
