Mangalore University will conduct an All India Inter University Ball Badminton Tournament for women at Moodbidri Alva’s College from December 27 to 30. Players from 70 Universities across India will take part in this tournament. Star of India award winner B N Meera will inaugurate the tournament. Moodbidri MLA Abhayachandra Jain will be the chief guest.  Karnataka Ball Badminton Association Secretary Mohammed Ilyas and Mahaveera College former Physical Education Director Mohandas Shanbhague will be the guests of honour.

Mangalore University Vice-Chancellor Prof T C Shivashankara Murthy will preside over the function. MP Nalin Kumar Kateel will be the Chief Guest during the valedictory function on December 30. Karnataka Ball Badminton Association President Prakash Hebbal and Mangalore University former Physical Education Director Dr K V Shenoy will be the guests of honour.
