2949 New Coronavirus Cases Reported in Andhra Pradesh:- The coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh are slowly coming down when compared to the past few weeks. The daily tally of cases even crossed 10,000 mark for some of the days in the previous months. The tally of coronavirus cases is now decreasing and 2949 new cases of coronavirus are reported in Andhra Pradesh in the past 24 hours. The total tests conducted in the state in the past one day are said to be 77,028. 3609 people recovered completely in Andhra Pradesh in the last one day. 18 people passed away in AP in the past 24 hours and the total tally of cases now stands at 8,11,879. A total number of 7,78,614 people recovered completely from coronavirus and the total death tally stands at 6643. There are 26,622 active cases of coronavirus in the country. Chittoor, Guntur, Krishna and West Godavari districts reported huge number of cases in the state. 43,893 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the country in the past 24 hours and the tally of cases reached 79,90,322. The total number of active cases in the country are said to be 6,10,803 and 72,59,509 people recovered from coronavirus completely.

Study Says Exposure to Air Pollution Increases the Coronavirus Deaths:- An exposure to air pollution is linked to an increased risk of death due to coronavirus said a study. The study estimated the proportion of deaths from the coronavirus and they can be attributed to exacerbating effects. The study is published in the Cardiovascular Research and it says that an estimated percentage of 15 deaths worldwide are occuring due to the long-term exposure to air pollution. The proportion was 19 percent in Europe and it is 17 percent in North America and it is 27 percent in East Asia. These deaths can be avoided if the population is not exposed to pollution. The study also added that the attributable fraction will not imply a direct cause-effect relationship between coronavirus mortality and air pollution. This could lead to fatal health outcomes of the virus infection. The study team included Professor Jos Lelieveld, of the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry, Mainz, Germany, and the Cyprus Institute Nicosia, Cyprus, Professor Thomas Munzel, from the University Medical Center of the Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, and the German Center for Cardiovascular Research, Mainz, and Dr Andrea Pozzer, from the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry. They used the epidemiological data from the previous USA and Chiese studies of the air pollution. The results are taken based on the epidemiological data that is collected in the third week of June 2020.

YSRCP to Boycott State Election Commissioner's Meet:- The YSRCP Government and the State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar has been at loggerheads about the local body polls. A meeting is scheduled to take place today in Amaravati to discuss about the possibility of local body polls. All the parties are invited to the meeting in advance. The ruling YSRCP government decided to boycott the meeting that is conducted by Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar. YSRCP leader and Sattenapalli legislator Ambati Rambabu announced the decision taken by the party. The State Election Commission is in plans to meet all the parties and collect the feedback about the local body polls considering the coronavirus pandemic. The polls are already pushed this year because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. All the parties in the state are asked to attend the meeting at 10:30 AM today and it was conducted in the absence of the YSRCP leaders. Ambati Rambabu said that the Supreme Court said that the Election Commission should take the ruling government's decision before proceeding further but the State Election Commission ignored it completely. But experts warn that there would be a second wave of attack coming considering the winter season. Some of the countries like Italy saw a huge spike in the number of cases after the wave went to minimal. 43,893 new cases of coronavirus are reported in the country in the past 24 hours and the tally of cases reached 79,90,322. The total number of active cases in the country are said to be 6,10,803 and 72,59,509 people recovered from coronavirus completely. The Centre announced that the guidelines of Unlock 5.0 would continue till the end of November. 508 people passed away in the country in the last 24 hours in the country. The death toll in the country now stands at 1,20,010. Kerala is the largest contributor of cases for the fifth consecutive day in the country. Delhi reported 4853 cases of coronavirus in the last one day and the death toll in the state touched 6356. The recovery percentage in the country now reached 90.62 percent. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said it had tested a total of 105,487,680 samples for the virus till date and the samples that are tested yesterday are said to be 10,66,786. All the movie theatres and multiplexes will allow only 50% percent of the occupancy for the next two months.
