Barcelona reportedly, are considering Busquets’ future and have delayed a decision on a new contract for the Spain international, until the end of the season.
Sergio Busquets has been left unsettled by the wait and United, Manchester City and Paris St-Germain are waiting for Barcelona chiefs, to accept their approaches.
Nou Camp chiefs are considering to sign Juventus mid fielder Paul Pogba and this is considered as luck to the PSG and premier league duo.
Reportedly, however, ex-Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho could wreck the deal for United, if he is appointed as Louis van Gaal's replacement, this summer.
Earlier this month, Busquets opened the door on a move to City, with ex-Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola taking over at the Etihad.
“I have always said there are just two people who could make me change my decision to stay at Barcelona,” the Spain international said.
“One of those two people is my wife. The other person is Guardiola. It’s clear that I owe Pep a lot and I would be honoured to work with him again.”
Busquets is unlikely to push for a Barcelona exit as he wants to become a Nou Camp legend. Aiming to become the legend of Nou Camp, Busquets is unlikely to push for a Barcelona exit.
“I hope that when I end my career, I go down in history as a great team player, who won titles and excelled. I want to become one of the players with the most games for Barcelona,” he added.
