With a fresh frame and a bigger engine, the Royal Enfield Continental GT 535 will be launched in September 2013. This will be a faster and lighter version of the classic Royal Enfield motorcycles.
Royal Enfield Continental GT 535 will first be available for the UK market as it is set for launch there. The engine for this motorcycle is similar to Classic and Desert Storm, which are Royal Enfields featuring the 500cc unit construction engine.
The new Bike has a remapped ECU, offering it enhanced power and torque. This bike is styled as a Cafe Racer with power and torque and has a quicker response from the motor due to a lighter flywheel .
With a 535cc motor, the Royal Enfield Continental GT 535 will be faster than the other offerings from the maker. Lighter weight takes the motorcycle's genuine top speed to nearly 140 Kmph.
In India, launch of Continental GT 535 has not been announced yet. Probable launch date might fall during the festival season, priced at a little over 2 lakhs.
