iPad Mini at affordable prices

iPad Mini has been the next thing on the gadget freak minds ever since the iPhone 5 has been launched in India. The premium phone was priced higher than the price of existing top notch models in the markets and hence was not extremely popular except with the Apple fanboys. The iPad Mini however is a totally different story altogether. Apple has decided to price the device aggressively competing with the tablets that are currently available in India.

However that doesn't mean that they are available cheaply but they are priced lower than expected in the Indian market. Finally, Tim Cook has realized the potential of Indian market. There is no official report on when the iPad Mini would be available in the country but a little bird tells us that the shipments to India are already underway. This makes us believe that the the Mango Men of the nation could lay their hands on the younger brother of the premium tablet by the end of next week or so.

The price for the base 16GB WiFi Only version is set at Rs 21,900 which is closer to the price of the 16GB of the Samsung Tab 2 (P310). The 32GB and 64GB versions will be available for Rs 27,900 and Rs 33,900 respectively. Google Nexus 7 is priced around the same price but with a higher memory.

Wifi+Cellular models are also available in the all three storage capacities and are priced at Rs 29,900 for 16GB, Rs 35,900 for 32GB and the best model in the whole iPad Mini range is priced at Rs 41,900 offering a whopping 64GB capacity along with cellular and WiFi capacities. With a good hardware to boast of, the Apple has done a commendable job with the mini 7.9” tablets and we can expect a good sales for the lower end variants in India.
