Virat Kohli To Step Down As T20 Captain For India:- From the past few days there are speculations that Indian skipper Virat Kohli will step down from his role for T20s to focus more on his batting. The star cricketer took his official social media page and posted about it. Virat Kohli will step down as the skipper for T20 format after the completion of the T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates. Virat Kohli will continue to lead Team India in ODIs and the Test matches. There are talks that Rohit Sharma will take charge as the captain for T20s for Team India. Virat Kohli took twitter and Instagram to post about the news. The 32-year-old said that he wants to focus more on his batting. He will lead Royal Challengers Bengaluru for IPL in Dubai. The season resumes this Sunday and the rest of the matches are completed before the end of October.

"Understanding the workload is a very important thing and considering my immense workload over the last 8-9 years playing all three formats and captaining regularly for the last 5-6 years. I feel I need to give myself space to be fully ready to lead the Indian team in Test and ODI cricket" told Virat Kohli in his statement. Rohit Sharma has an excellent track record of leading T20s as he brought five IPL titles for Mumbai Indians. Rohit Sharma who happens to be the vice-captain for India in all the formats will take the charge for T20s. India will take up on New Zealand in November and Rohit Sharma will take charge from this series.
