Indian player contracted with coronavirus ahead of the England tour:- One of the players of the Indian cricket team is tested positive for Coronavirus right before the England tour and he is currently under home quarantine in his relative's place. The team member's name is not disclosed and he is expected to return back to the team once he recovers completely. The team member has been experiencing a sore throat after which he took up the test for coronavirus. Team India will play a three-day warmup match against Select County XI between July 20th and 22nd. Some of the reports said that two Indian players are tested for coronavirus.
All the players and staffers who are in contact with the player are currently in home isolation for three days. The players will take up coronavirus tests again and the number of coronavirus cases in the United Kingdom has seen a huge rise in the recent weeks. National Health Service in England is conducting Covid tests for the entire players and the staffers of Team India. The first round of tests are conducted on July 10th. All the players will join the bio-bubble before the warmup game that will commence on July 20th.
