Jofra Archer ruled out of IPL 2021:- England young pacer Jofra Archer turned out to be a key player for the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2021. He is out of IPL for the season which turned out to be a huge blow for Rajasthan Royals. Jofra Archer injured his elbow during the recent series with India. England Cricket Board confirmed that he would miss the season. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed the news. The ECB and the Sussex medical teams will continue to monitor the progress of Jofra Archer. He underwent a finger surgery which was carried out along with the longstanding elbow surgery. England coach Chris Silverwood and elite pace bowling lead Jon Lewis are tracking out his fitness.
Jofra Archer took a full session of batting and bowling during the track along with the running. Rajasthan Royals were optimistic about the return of Jofra Archer but the ECB confirmed that he would miss the season this year. He returned back to training after he recovered from the injury. Jofra Archer happens to be one of the most valuable player for England. As he needs to get into a bubble before making it to IPL 2021, all the three parties ECB, Rajasthan Royals and Jofra Archer agreed that this would interrupt the preparation for his upcoming matches. He returned back to England this year in March for his surgery to his right hand to remove the fragments of glass. Jofra Archer got injured during a fish tank accident early this year. He also took treatment for his elbow injury.
