India Loses the First T20 for England:- After reporting some remarkable victories in the test match series, India took on England in the first T20 match that happened last night. England won the toss and elected to bowl first. The pathetic performance of the Indian batsmen made England register a 8-wicket easy victory in the first T20 that took place in Narendra Modi Stadium. India managed to make 124/7 in their 20 overs. Shreyas Iyer (67), Rishabh Pant (21) and Hardik Pandya (19) are the top scorers for the side. Joffra Archer (3/23), Adil Rashid (1/14) and Mark Wood (1/20) managed to get the wickets of the Indian batsmen.
England chased the target on a comfortable note in just 15.3 overs. Jason Roy (49), Jos Buttler (28) and Jonny Bairstow (26 not out) are the top scorers among the English batsmen. Washington Sundar and Yuzvendra Chahal managed to get one wicket each among the Indian bowlers. Jofra Archer has been named as the Player of the Match. The second T20 between India and England will take place tomorrow in Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.
