Final Test: India takes a lead on England in their first Innings:- India is leading the test series after two back to back victories in the second and third tests. The final test commenced yesterday in Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. England won the toss first and elected to bat first. The Indian bowlers restricted the English batsmen for 205. Ben Stokes (55), Dan Lawrence (46) and Olie Pope (29) are the top scorers for the side. Axar Patel (4/68), Ravichandran Ashwin (3/47) and Mohammed Siraj (2/45) got the top numbers among the Indian bowlers. By the end of the second day in the final test, India are batting with 294 for the loss of 7 wickets.
Rohit Sharma (49) opened well among the Indian batsmen and Rishabh Pant (101) has been outstanding with his century. Washington Sundar (60 not out) is the other top scorer for the side. Axar Patel (11 not out) is in the crease. India got a slight lead of 89 runs in their first innings. James Anderson (3/40), Ben Stokes (2/73), Jack Leach (2/66) took the wickets of the Indian batsmen. The predictions say that the test match would have its result and India is the favorite. After a huge defeat in the third test match, England is keen to bounce back with a victory in the last test and level the test series.
